1、 The hammer mill trips as soon as the control system is turned on
The hammer mill trips as soon as it is turned on, and if it is not turned on, it indicates that this fault is likely due to the hammer mill door protection or the forward and reverse travel switch wire being broken or the wiring being loose, as well as the control system tripping caused by short circuits caused by startup vibration.

Solution: Check the door protection or forward and reverse travel switch wires of the hammer mill. If the wire is damaged or the wiring is loose, use insulating tape to treat the damaged area and wrap the loose wiring tightly. 

2、 During the startup process of the hammer mill, there may be sudden shutdowns
During the startup process of the hammer mill, there may be sudden shutdowns that can be restarted, indicating that the shutdown is still caused by vibration after the hammer mill is started.

3、 There are many materials piled up in the feeding port or crushing chamber of the hammer mill
The large gap between the hammer blades of the hammer mill and the inconsistency between the feeding direction of the hammer mill and the operating direction of the hammer mill can lead to the spraying of materials, and over time, a lot of materials will accumulate in the crushing chamber.

Solution:
(1) Check if the clearance between the hammer and screen is normal
(2) Check that the direction of the hammer mill guide plate is opposite to the direction of the hammer mill rotation

4、 The current of the hammer mill is unstable
The current of the hammer mill is unstable, which is caused by the inconsistency between the feeding direction of the hammer mill and the running direction of the hammer mill.
Solution: Check the guide plate to ensure that the material falls in the same direction as the hammer blade rotation.

5、 Low output of hammer mill
There are many factors that lead to low output of the hammer mill, such as poor discharge, hammer wear, screen aperture size, fan configuration, etc. After on-site inspection, targeted solutions need to be provided based on the specific situation.

6、 The bearing of the hammer mill heats up
There are many factors that can cause bearing overheating, such as:
(1) When the two bearing seats are uneven or the motor rotor is not concentric with the hammer mill rotor, the shaft is subjected to additional load impact, resulting in heat generation.

Solution: Stop the machine to troubleshoot and prevent early bearing damage.
(2) Excessive, insufficient or aged lubricating oil in bearings.
Solution: Add lubricating oil regularly and quantitatively according to the instructions during use.
(3) The fit between the bearing cover and the shaft is too tight, and the fit between the bearing and the shaft is too tight or too loose.
Solution: Once this problem occurs, when the equipment is running, there will be a frictional sound and obvious oscillation. At this point, the operator should immediately stop the machine to remove the bearing, repair the friction area, and then reassemble according to the requirements.
